Laughs All Around!

For the past month or so we have been getting a laugh here and there from Adison. Just this past week, she has been opening up and really giving us some good ones. I don't know how you guys felt, but hearing my own baby laugh was the best sound in the world. We'll do something that gets her going and then we'll keep doing that same thing over and over trying to get her to laugh again. Her first real laugh was at Maggie playing tug of war with Lance. It was the cutest thing. I came out of the bedroom to find Lance sitting down with Adison on his knee, Maggie trying to pull a toy away from him, the baby laughing, and tears streaming down Lance's face from laughing at Adison. Of course, it happened when I was in another room, but I could hear the whole thing unfolding, and it was kind of fun to picture it in my head before I actually saw what was going on. Now, we walk around looking like complete idiots doing anything to get a laugh out of her. This is proof positive of how one simple thing can make all the stressful times not seem so bad. It's funny how one little laugh can put your whole life into perspective...
