Adison was introduced to a whole new concept of food in the past few days. After weeks of watching her eyeball our dinner plates, we bit the bullet and fed her some solid (not necessarily solid in my definition...) treats. Who knew how delicious room temperature, pureed bananas would be. She LOVED them! It took a couple of bites before she figured out what her mouth was supposed to be doing, but she quickly got the hang of things. Before the end of her first "real" meal, she looked like a little bird- opening her mouth every time the spoon even came close. I haven't introduced too much yet, just bananas and applesauce, but carrots are the next on the list. Of course, I had to run right out and get a highchair. For some reason the experience didn't feel complete without one. We'll see in the coming days if she is a picky eater like her dad or a shove any and every food in her mouth kind of girl like her mom. It's almost sad when I think how fast my little baby is growing...Nearly 5 Months old already. Solid foods today, high school graduation tomorrow...

I'm so glad to see you have a blog! Adison is growing so fast! And you are so right when you say...solid foods today, high school graduation tomorrow! They grow up way to fast! I started potty training Gracie today - 9 times on the potty 4 times in her pants! Not to bad I guess, for the first day! Keep up the blogging! I'll show Gracie tomorrow - she'll love seeing new pictures of baby Adi!
